PODERE
Podere Arcangelo Michele is a farm located in the green hilly land scape of the high Caserta area near by the Lete water sources located in the municipality of Pratella. The purchase of these land sat the end of the 80’s stems from a night dream of my mother and a conscious daytime dream of my family to offer a contribution to the earth, trees, plants, landscape, to protectthem from continuous environmental degradation through the biological and biodynamic method.
THE COMPANY
It has an area of about 12 hectares, half of which is covered by olive groves of differentages to which we give our care and our work. We are trying to create a living agricultural organism. There is a small but precious grove where several birds and animals find shelter. Some hectares are destined to arable land which allow us to produce cereals, legumes, vegetable garden and green manure seeds in rotation. Particular attention is given to the borders, hedges, bushes that surround the property as support for the landscape and biodiversity. Insects love these shelter areas and at the same time help us to pollinate our flowers, giving us the fruits that we then collect.
The main residence is the center to all family activities, is surrounded by a large garden which leads to a small annex. Numerous fruit species, a rose garden, aromatic herbs, pergolas with vineyards, 3 large lime trees and other species adorn this green area of the property bordered by two large oak trees, undisputed ladies of this garden, from which you can enjoy a wide view of 360 ° and that despite being present for 30 years now allows us to always see something new to observe in the landscape.
